« The work of art develops and accentuates what is specifically precious in the things that give us pleasure every day.  »

Textiles

The textile creations attempt to represent the simplicity of life, meditative moments, poetic exploration as a positive response to our need to adapt to climate change, through an experimental and alternative approach.

The textile art installation is inviting us to connect to a more simple life, to be at the present, observing, meditating.

Every human being is an artist, a being of freedom, called to participate in the transformation and remodelling of the conditions, thinking and structures that shape and inform our lives.

Simplicity & Memories

This collection was the starting point for Marina's work with textiles, a creative experience that began during an artistic residency in Berlin.

The research consisted in developing textile art with scarves dyed with natural ink colors (spices, foods, flowers, etc.).

Ailleurs loin d’ici

(elsewhere far away from here)

This artwork series is dedicated to works created after trips to Africa, and is an invitation to a poetic journey.

After exploring natural hues, Marina was led to explore variations in printmaking forms, using stamps and inks to create the shapes of her emotions.

Family Roots

This collection is made up of textiles created in Berlin and during an artistic residency in Italy.

All are inspired by Marina's past and family heritage.
